PDPstuff Introducing Forage Clothing Co!

Forage Clothing Co.

:: About Us

Forage Clothing Co. was really nothing more than the materialization of an idea that just popped into my head one day. I was browsing through clothing magazines and websites and I soon realized that nothing was really to my liking. It seemed that all the clothes that I saw were so similar in style and design that, after looking through several sites, I couldn’t differentiate between clothing from one company and another unless I looked at their respective logos. It was then that I realized that I wanted to create my own tees, my own style. Initially, it was just a fun idea; designing a shirt and having it made with the premise that no one else would have these shirts but me, effectively establishing my own style in a world of converging designs. After designing more and more shirts, I showed some friends and they really liked the designs too. I thought to myself that maybe I had stumbled on a way to influence people to realize that individual style shouldn’t be “cookie-cutter”---that self-expression could be directly related to personal clothing style, and that this could be the proverbial “stepping stone” to inspire creativity in other forms of self-expression: art, music, writing, etc. At that point, I made the decision to try and make my own brand, with one of my goals being, to start a clothing company that didn’t try to force a style unto consumers and into the market. Instead, I wanted to create clothing that would provide a way for its clients to express themselves by means of its creations, specifically speaking, the t-shirts that I have designed ::

“Forage Clothing Co. believes that style is something we are all blessed with. There are things in life that we think we can never change. But, we also believe with intelligence, perseverance, and style, nothing is impossible. So go ahead, make a statement, change your world, find your own style. We will provide your foundation.”

:: About the Shirts

Each shirt is PERSONALLY designed by me. All of the shirts designed are LIMITED EDITION. They are printed in limited quantities and the designs found on every shirt are one of a kind. As of the release date, three additional designs will also be released every month! Each individual shirt will be released for sale for three months, after which they will NOT BE PRINTED ANYMORE. However the same design may be released again for printing, but not in that exact color scheme and style. You won't find shirts quite like the ones you will wear in any department store! So make sure to check back often for new designs and products from Forage ::

:: Brief Biography

I was born in the Philippines in the latter part of the twentieth century. I moved to the United States in 1993 to New Jersey. Ironically, when I was little, I developed little interest and affinity for clothing design. I did however, developed an interest in art. As a little kid, I would draw constantly. If I was bored, I would draw. If I was watching TV, I would draw. While I was at school and in class, I would draw (probably not a good idea). I graduated grade school and attended the Academies @ Englewood, taking pre-engineering as my major field of study along with kids from the surrounding towns. So, I was exposed to lots of people and really helped me shape my own style. I saw that different socioeconomic backgrounds influenced an individual’s style. This singular experience helped shape my style today. For example, when I supplemented my engineering, math, and science courses in high school with drawing, painting, and graphic design courses and found that anything I created was influenced by my experiences with my friends from differing backgrounds.

Moving on with life, I graduated from the Academies @ Englewood and headed to Carnegie Mellon University. I’m still here and currently working towards a degree in Biomedical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering while trying to manage a fledgling clothing line.

I hope you enjoy the shirts that I have designed and pick ones that really suit your character and personality. Maybe you’ll find that your style is constant, or maybe you’ll find that your style was totally different from what your current style is. Either way, I hope you have as much fun picking out and rocking a shirt that matches your style, as I had creating and designing them ::
